2017 NCTM Regional Conference in Chicago

The NCTM Regional Conference is coming to Chicago this fall (11/29, 11/30, 12/1)! Its scale, variety, and nationally-known speakers make it an amazing opportunity to take your professional practice to the next level — which also benefits your students. The conference is a great chance to connect with thousands of talented, committed colleagues advancing high-quality, equitable mathematics education for all students.

Learn more about it, including some of the great sessions, in this flyer and at

Register by November 3 for the best rates. (And if five or more people from your district are attending, register as a group for an even lower rate!)

If you're attending, please consider volunteering as well. It's a chance to help make the conference a great experience, contribute to the profession, and meet some interesting new colleagues. (And you get a snazzy T-shirt!) Conference registrants, retirees, or students can volunteer; sign up here. (All registrant volunteers can register at the NCTM member rate; if you're not a member, email me for a discount code. And student volunteers can attend the rest of they day they volunteer for free!)

Please do pass this info along to your friends and colleagues.

You may find this justification tool kit helpful to make the case for your attendance.
